The Source has a preview of it up! It looks great! Larfleeze is, as always, a hoot, and his interactions with his "gelatinous spud-shaped servant" are oddly endearing. Plus, cookies!

Looking forward to picking this one up!
It seemed kinda short. And it felt like an abrupt ending too.

The last few pages are the obligatory "teach the grinchy guy who doesn't get Christmas the meaning of Christmas," and it just comes across as lame. Killed the pretty fun vibe that the first half of the book gave us.
Art's quite nice. Brett Booth has been more detailed in the past, but this less-than-detailed look is very nice, and it all flows well too. His JLA run should look good.
I thought the ending was great.
I was actually expecting them to not tell all the kids that Santa is fake. Stupid me.

Larfleeze is the most fun new character DC has created in the past ten years. Hope DC never kills him off.
Buried Alien (The Fastest Post Alive!)
The responses are as predictable as they are sad.
That was Damn depressing. Way to suck the joy out of the season Geoff.
I thought the exact same thing.
There was great build up with Larfleeze's greed being turned into something nice on Christmas Day but the end was very sad.
Furthermore, I didn't like what Hal had to say in regards to Santa.
Don't read this to the youngsters!
Did Geoff forget Christmas is a couple days away with this one?
And an issue about "Christmas Spirit" to boot!
Ah well, still it was good - just not what I was expecting a couple days before Christmas.

This might be my personal favorite comic of the year, seriously I just don't even get some fans these days it seems they just have to find something to complain about.
"If at first you don't succeed, try Kyle again!".
Not liking something and saying so and "having to find something to complain about" are two wildly different things. Sometimes people don't like what you like. Guess what? Neither of you is wrong.
Having said that, I was surprised to see that Johns wrote in the "no Santa" thing in a medium generally thought of as for kids, and the ending was kind of an abrupt downer. I loved everything up until the last few pages, though. "I Want Glue!" on the ornament cracked me up.
Booth really surprised me here. He'll make a fine replacement for Bagley in JLA.
I. AM. THE. NEW. GOD.
Across countless worlds, for countless eons, not a voice is raised in hope or joy.
Across these worlds, these infinite lands throughout the cosmos, there is only Darkseid.
.
No Santa?
I'm preaty sure Santa showed up before.
great issue it started as a fun story but of course with the ending you end up with a different feeling.
