Default New Avengers in Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes

If some certain Avengers were presented in the recent cartoon, The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest
Heroes, as the first Avengers, how would you react to this?

How many ratings will Avengers: EMH receive if this scenario were to happen?

How different would the series' episodes be if the New Avengers chars were the main cast?

Would this effect the Avengers movie in anyway?

And finally, would the cartoon get cancelled before the final episodes air
on the television network that they'd be on?

Note: The New Avengers that'll appear in the cartoon's first season, for
this scenario, would be Wolverine, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Luke Cage, Sentry
& Spider-Woman (with Captain America, Ronin and Hawkeye joining the team later).

New Avengers are overrated and I'm sick of them.
Plus, they'd only fight the Hood.

god no, I like Luke Cage but THESE are the real Avengers. I'm still trying to figure out what is the point of the New Avengers now.

My guess is that Cage, Iron Fist, and Spider Woman, and maybe Dr. Strange are the only NA to show up.
My Heroes For Hire: Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Misty Knight, Colleen Wing, The Falcon, Ant-Man (Scott Lang). White Tiger IV and Powerman would be interns.

It would be too soon to bring in the New Avengers.

There would need to be an arc that destroys or disassembles the team(not necessarily the same story as in the comics) at the end of the second season.

The third season could then introduce them.....

Given that they sorta used the NA origin story to unite the avengers,I think that thr NA would hav been okay to use!I'm glad they used the original angers but not happy with the ratio of male to female characters.

I hope to god the NA line up stays far far away.

I'm cool with a Luke Cage cameo. Or a Spidey one shot team up. But beyond that no.

I do however, want to see the Maximoffs join though.

Well, it's an Avengers cartoon that's supposed to focus on the original Avengers, and with the live action movie coming out in 2012 I doubt they'd shift the focus to the New Avengers. Having said that, I think it would be awesome to have a 2-parter where something happens to the team and the New Avengers are formed.

I'd set it up with an episode where Cap finds out that Bucky is still alive and goes after him, discovering that he is a brainwashed former Soviet operative working for Lukin (whom they've already referenced in the cartoon). By the end of that episode Bucky / Winter Soldier is starting to shake his programming, but Cap fails to bring him in.

Then there's a 2-parter called 'Avengers Disassembled' where the whole team is taken out somehow and Cap is presumed dead. By the end of the first episode Stark has assembled a new team of Avengers: Spider-man, Wolverine, Luke Cage, Spider-woman and Ronin. At the very end of the episode, however, Bucky shows up with Cap's shield and says he wants to help find him. The second episdode sees him in his current Captain America outfit working with the NA. They end up stopping whatever threat has taken out the Avengers (Wanda? The Sentry?) and go their separate ways at the end. We find out that Ronin is a female when she takes off her mask (Echo) and Hawkeye flirts with her. And Cap tries to convince Bucky to stay on as Captain America, but he refuses saying that Steve will always be Captain America to him.

Something like that would be cool IMO, and if the NA are popular enough then they could do a spin off cartoon and have two going with Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes and New Avengers.

For a TV show, that is too much at once and does not seem like it would ease the audience in very well.

I simply wouldn't have watched. I'm a fan of the real Avengers, not the New Avengers.

I think there's room for both. And I honestly prefer the New Avengers, but with the original "all star" line-up of Captain America (Steve), Iron Man, Luke Cage, Spider-man, Wolverine and Spider-woman. Didn't really care much about Ronin or the Sentry.

In the case of this cartoon I think it would be fun to see them show up, but I can understand the fear that they would end up replacing the old Avengers due to being more popular and interesting.

I do think that somewhere down the line, IF the cartoon does well enough, they'll do some variation of Disassembled. Like it or not, it was one of the most significant Avenger storylines in history.

Course, the problem is that several of the Avengers might be trickier to use. Spidey in particular. Not sure if Logan is free and clear or not... they sort of used him already.
