I'm sold. My run of Power Man and Iron Fist #50 through #125 is one of my favorites in my comics collection.

I enjoyed Shadowland: Power Man and if I wasn't going to join in at the news of all the PM/IF crew returning, Mr. Van Lente definitely had me with the return of Don of the Dead!!
BOOSTER GOLD (Michael Jon Carter), HAWKEYE (Clint Barton), IRON FIST (Daniel Rand), MOON KNIGHT (Marc Spector aka Steven Grant aka Jake Lockley), NIGHTCRAWLER (Kurt Wagner),
    NOVA (Richard Rider)

I like the sound of this but really how hard is is to fit Cage in seriously he is Danny's best friend and this is their ex-Secretary. Also Danny can do quite a bit more then just channel through his fist and heal. Like channel into to weapons, manipulate magnetic fields, some mind control, and some illusions and whole host of other abilities like one touch killing now that he has the Book of Iron Fist.

That is because Luke Cage is gonna star in a new limited series titled:

Luke Cage and Iron Fist with Shang Chi filling in the Rand role. Ha Ha Kidding.

I enjoyed the Shadowland mini. And have no prob with the kid taking on the Power man persona.

I can see this definitely being a lot of fun but I was hoping Remender would do a Luke Cage/Iron Fist book with Mahmud Asrar on art like their Thunderbolts one-shot. That was a lot of fun that's missing in mainstream books nowadays.

"It's kind of humbling. Iron Fist spent years training himself to the point where he was allowed to face the dragon Shou-Lao the Undying and defeat him to become the Iron Fist. This kid basically rolls out of bed and becomes twenty times more powerful than [Iron Fist]."

I think I just threw up in my mouth a little.

I read the mini and I didn't care for the character at all, that and the poor quality of the whole Shadowland mess has soured me on the street level hero thing.

It's a shame because Heroes for Hire looks decent, but I just can't be bothered.

I have no interest in a comic with a convuluted smart-mouthed character that's trying to be like some crappy 80s cop movie. I don't know why Van Lente would even mention that in the interview, it doesn't seem like a very creative way to come up with new stories. But of course that's just my opinion.

To me the whole thing has epic fail written all over it.

Not trying to be a troll just disappointed with the direction of the characters.

If you are not a fan is understandable but Is not right for you to judge it by saying is an epic fail written all over it. I think Fred Van Lente did a great job on Shadowland : Power Man mini, he is one hell of a writer building and investing in the characters.

Interested in the fight with Spidey also glad for non stereotype powers but where do u think he goes once the mini is done? He is not just gonna be in minis forever. The way I see it the options are H4H and AA. I'd say AA is the better option since there are more teens around and he wouldn't get pushed out by the bigger names in H4H.

It figures that he'd be duking it out with Spidey. Anytime a new street level guy is introduced, beating up poor Peter is part of their initiation.

I think Heroes 4 Hire seems the most logical place for him to show up again. AA is really a book about training potential super villains... but Power Man already has his own mentor anyways. And his "master's" girlfriend leads H4H so it's all sort of in the same family.

He still has super villain potential although I agree with your points still he would be competing for panel time with much bigger characters which is kinda hard for a new character.
