Default Heroic Age Avengers/Gorilla Man question

Does it seem odd that Ken Hale/Gorilla Man is the only one from this Heois Age Poster that came out a while back who isn't currently on one of the Avengers teams?

Before his mini yes, and also right before the relaunched Atlas ongoing. I also suspect that artists just like drawing Gorilla Man.

    Thankfully common sense prevailed.

don't know what it is. i like the idea of an Agents of Atlas. they are certainly a handsome cast of characters. i wonder why they have such a hard time at grabbing interest.

They've had no "awesome" cartoon series. So no one thinks they matter.

Seriously though, like the Thunderbolts, the Agents of Atlas are sort of fringe Avengers anyways.

They are the Avengers that would have been had the Avengers formed in the 50's.

That was their initial premise in What If...? issue #9 way back in '78.
