"That's not just "one man"! That's TONY FREAKING STARK. You're intel should've warned us that he was James Bond and "Q" wrapped in the same guy!" Cobra
Looks like a promising week! New Mutants Forever has been an unexpected gem for me and I'm looking forward to seeing the Hellverine arc end. It's had it's moments, but it's starting to drag a bit. I'm ready for some fresh Wolverine stories that don't involve all the hellfire and brimstone.
What really has me excited though is the What If for Spider-Man. I've been looking forward to this one. One of the key tenants of Spider-Man's canon is that he won't kill. I know they'll never have him cross that line in the 616 comics or even the Ultimate comics, but What If's have few rules. I want to see how this changes him and how it affects him. I hope it does more than just make him some enraged monster. I want the story to be a bit more complex than that. Some What If stories simply don't get fleshed out enough. I think this is one that has the potential to be extra awesome.![]()

X-men Supreme
Only three for me!
Ironman Legacy
New Mutants Forever
Thunderbolts.
1) There are far too many titles priced at $3.99.
2) There are far too many titles that feature Thor.
3) At first glance, next week's Strange Tales doesn't seem as impressive as the 5 issues that preceded it, but the notion of the late, great Harvey Pekar and Ben Grimm having attended Hebrew school together (in what is potentially the last story written by Pekar) makes a must-buy nonetheless. Still, that Terry Moore story (again featuring Thor!) is quite terrible.
4) Something's missing from Kev Walker's art on this months T-Bolts. He's done far better work in the past months. On a more positive note, I hope Marvel continues to give Declan Shalvey work as I enjoyed his art on the title immensely.
5) Uncanny X-Force seems to be the best X-title in years. In the last decade, people would rave about an X-Title if the stories were above-average and the art serviceable. Uncanny X-Force has so far featured superlative art A N D an immensely entertaining story. The origins for the new Horsemen of the Apocalypse are all excellent.

So how come we have a different character and title continuing classic numbering and a new set of numbering for a classic title?
