Found them on amazon fairly cheap, so they are on there way to me. Thanks Keehar and Rubberlotus.

Yeah I have no doubts that the Cobblepots will be in it, If its well researched I think its going to be awesome.

Just read the Detective annual, really good, loved all the extra characters in it. I could see Penguin as a Question villain. Now Im just waiting for showcase 94. in the post.

Found an interview about Gates of Gotham, with Scott Snyder and Kyle Higgins.

Gotham Underground was mentioned so Im hoping we get more Cobblepot history. Looks like this is going to be great.

Got Showcase 94 this morning, fantastic read, loved how clever and smooth Penguin was. Driving Gordon to nearly throw him off the roof, i liked how far Penguin would go to be recognised as a threat. And what a great cover.

Might sound strange but i love issues like this of writers just sitting the characters down and exploring thier character.

So cheers for the recommendations guys.

Saw this the other day and got excited, cant wait to see some in game pictures. With Dini on writing i think we will get a pretty good gang boss Penguin more in line with the comics rather than the film.

Sometimes I really like Finch's art and I think he would be great on an Etrigan or Blue Devil but I think he drew a horrible Penguin. Still im going to give it a shot (if we ever get the next issue), see how the story goes. What did you think of it?

I finally acquired Penguin Triumphant and I must say it was brilliant. My only complaint is that it wasn't long enough!! I needed MORE Penguin action!...

Anyway, I was hoping that Penguin would be in Arkham City. If I'm real lucky, we might get a boss fight with him. With the many musclebound bosses of Arkham Asylum, Penguin would be a nice change of pace, we could put that umbrella to use!

Im 99% sure he is in the game, there were a few avatars of villains (from game footage)put on the official Arkham City website forums, and one of them was Penguin. Unfortunatly Rocksteady said they had been released early so they got taken off the site. (Along with Freeze, Ivy, Croc and Grundy)

The thing is that it looked like Penguin had three fingers, which will annoy me no end if they go that way with Penguin (especially since thats not the way he was shown in Arkham Asylum, on the poster or on his profile).
But the Avatar was very small so I could be wrong (fingers crossed).

And I totally agree on Penguin Triumphant, I just wanted more, Cant wait for Gates of Gotham.

I saw that Penguin avatar for Arkham City. It was small, but from what I could see Penguin looked awesome. I am chuffed to bits he's going to be in the game. I hope he's got a prominent role in it. That gang war with Two Face sounds like he will.

Not wild about the art for him. He's not Penguin looking enough, IMO. But if the story is good then I'll easily over look it.

Btw, did you read the latest issue of Dark Knight? The Penguin really has got Batman by the short and curlies

Because I live so far away from a comic shop, i have to post order everything. So anything that falls behind its schedule I generally cant get. But if the story is good Ill make an effort to pick it up.

Just a quick message to note that I posted recently on looking for best examples of different villains in Batman comics, noting that at the time I only had 4-5 comics (I have many more now, however, after this thread). One villain I was looking for in particular was Penguin, and the only 3 I had recommended for Penguin was Penguin's triumphant, Gotham Underground and No Man's Land... I read triumphant, which was good, but short, I have literally, just five minutes ago on eBay, won Gotham Underground, but No Man's Land seems too long for me to collect for a short Penguin stint, sadly! :(

However, I did also run into Penguin in City of Crime, which I hated, but Penguin was probably the best thing about that comic... I loved Broken City, and Penguins appearance in that was fantastic, if again, far too short, and also his even shorter appearance in Joker...

I've still not run into the Iceberg Lounge in any of the comics that I've read on him though... Maybe I should ask if there are any comics centred around the lounge itself(?)... But I am mainly looking for that gentlemanly villain that I got a little taste of in triumphant... I feel like I've got the Penguin appetiser, but I'm missing the main course!

So, Penguin's triumphant is the biggest Penguin fix I've been able to get so far, and that's only forty odd pages long! This thread has been a bit of a godsend in that regard, I need to do some digging around some of the lists provided, so a quick tip of my hat to y'all, and a thank you! :D
