It could be the funeral of Captain Arthur Stacy. That would be a good direction for the film to go, adopting a "deaths of the Stacys" storyline.
She looks pretty spot on to me. This seems to be shaping up nicely.
She almost looks as if she stepped right out of Busiek and Ross' MARVELS.
Looks like a winner!!! It will be super to see Andrew Garcia as spidey!

That sure is a girl in a coat.
I still don't know if she's right for the role or not. I know, I know, she's a natural blond, and the pictures look great. But this role is so unlike her characters in "Zombieland" and "Easy A." However, she seems to be a sharp young lady, and she's easily the most exciting casting pick so far, so we'll see.

If you look at other photos from the set, you can see that it is definitely a cop funeral. So I'm assuming it's Captain Stacy's, which is why she seems so sad.
Can't help but see it as a retread of Daredevil.
I think Emma Stone looks good, though. Can't wait to see what the rest of the cast looks like, particularly Andrew Garfield and Rhys Ifans.
Someone once told me that time was a predator that stalked us all our lives. I rather believe that time is a companion who goes with us on the journey and reminds us to cherish every moment, because it'll never come again. What we leave behind is not as important as how we've lived. After all, we're only mortal. - Jean-Luc Picard
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move. - The Guide
A hell of a way to end the Spider-Man reboot would be if the movie ends with Gwen Stacy's death. Should this be the movie that Uncle Ben lives I can see Gwen's death be what cause Peter to become Spider-Man full time

She is a solid actress (try to find Paper Man, also has Ryan Reynolds in it and it's her best work) and she's beautiful so I'm all over this movie. Webb's first movie was awesome and he has some solid music videos under his belt, and Andrew Garfield was amazing in Social Network. So, basically, with those 3 involved, they could make the villain freakin Hypno-Hustler and I'd be there opening night.

I doubt Gwen will die in this movie, and if they have any sense there won't be a climax near a bridge of any kind, but for actors they usually sign them up for 3 movies, so dollars to donuts Gwen's death will come in the third movie. Everyone plans trilogies. And with Emma Stone being Gwen, I know for sure I'll be sobbing. ETA 2016 or 2017.
