By the way, Marvel calling this "viral" and saying that "Eagle eyed readers" would spot it, feels like a seventy years old lady going "Cool, this totally rocks" to say hello.
Ah, do not worry, she will be back in a more bening form for Age of X. Of course, still tied to the Phoenix it seems, so...
It's really sad. If they didn't want to use Jean, they should have just had her use her powers to throw herself in front of the car that she telekinetically threw Annie into in 616. She could have heroically sacrificed herself instead of murdering her friend.
