I don't think I've read one thing by Giffen that I didn't highly enjoy, or at least appreciated. Very underrated, in my opinion.

I have the same experience with his work. I admit I haven't read everything, but I've certainly read a lot and it has always been enjoyable, even if the characters or settings weren't exactly, my favorites.
I don't think he's that underrated though, he has his fans, just like JMS.
God, these two really bring out the fanboy in me.
