CBR: FIRST LOOK: Coipel Covers "Wolverine & Jubilee"

Marvel Comics has provided CBR with an [em]exclusive[/em] first look at Olivier Coipel's cover for "Wolverine and Jubilee" #1. The mini, written by Kathryn Immonen with art by Phil Noto hits stores January 2011.

I really don't understand why they depowered her just to repower her with generic vampiric abilities.

Agreed, although I think those two things are independent. Still with Coipel on art, I have no doubts about quality visuals. Now lets hope that Kathyrn can write an awesome story.

It's actually Phil Noto on art duties, Coipel is just the cover artist.

Ugh, love the art; love the premise; hate the writer. Kathryn Immonen writes all style over substance, and I can't stand her style. Not my cup of tea.

On a positive note, more work for Phil Noto is always good.

My only gripe is them using the yellow costume in this instead of the far superior black and gray one. Especially for a book about Wolverine and his former sidekick turned creature of the night. He should be wearing his stealth duds.

Actually, IMO they should just take his standard costume and change the color scheme to brown and tan, or black and tan, or even dark blue and tan. Anything that is darker than blue and piss yellow. Just my $.02.
