Huh so the pink-haired queen bee from the first issue is going with the She-Hulks to catch the Red Ghost?
I honestly did not expect her to actually do anything other than make Lyra's high school life miserable.
The first issue was alot of fun. It's a shame the series got cut down from an ongoing to a mini. But it should make for a nice trade.

I thought it was great, it really surprised me with how fun it was. Yes putting Lyra into a High School (setting complete with a clique of Mean Girls and her very own pretty boy love interest) is kind of cliche. But I felt Wilcox did a good job at doing things differently.
If anything I felt Jen could have gotten a bit more focus, but I liked seeing her in a mentor role opposed to working on a team like she usually does, I'm still not sure if it really fits it her but we'll see how it goes.
Issue 1 was far, far better than I had been expecting. But then again, I wasn't expecting much. Had a little too much focus on Lyra, but Jen got her due, instead of being shoved aside to make way for new characters, which is what seemed like was happening to her since her solo series got axed.
God, though, I hope Jen is kept far, far away from Bendis. I wouldn't mind her in AA, though (she could be a lot of fun if she were brought in via Lyra being added to the academy). And SA, too, I suppose. She did have her Agent of SHIELD era, after all; and it's not like a team with Valkyrie or War Machine is ALL about stealth.
I saw that that sucks! Maybe if we keep buying it then that will change...
Hmm...I love Lyra but Jen/Betty has been getting me attracted to Hulk books. But i'm curious to see a Hulk attend HS. But this sounds like a winner.
You guys gave me a good reason to pick up this book! Thank you!
But you gotta cut Val some slack she didn't know how to be Steathly like Steve and Widow. Now War Machine...He should know about steath.

I really like this series so far. Frankly if Marvel wanted to do a She-Hulk animated feature, they should adopt it from this arc.
One She-Hulk is okay. Two is even better. But when they get to three? That's when I give a shit!
I loved the first issue and I'm eagerly awaiting #2 tomorrow. Fun and funny story, combined with Ryan Stegman's amazing art. I really think he is going to be a huge name in the industry someday very soon.
I am also a bit bummed this series has been cut to a 4 issue mini. But all the more reason people should go out and buy this book. Get the sales up for the greenlight of a 2nd series which could possibly be an ongoing! And get all 3 She-Hulks in that one... =D
So go buy She-Hulks, and get an extra copy to give to a friend so they can get hooked on it too!
