Default CBR: VIDEO: "Batman: TB&tB - Darkseid Descending"

Cartoon Network has released video clips and stills from this week's episode of "Batman: The Brave and The Bold," ominously titled "Darkseid Descending" and featuring a new Justice League lineup.

Apparently a post consisting entirely of "Bwahaha" is not enough characters.

    Sweet. A JLI homage.

I just noticed, though, we never got that Birds of Prey episode here in the US, did we?

A Bwa-Ha-Ha League homage episode, cool! They fit the show's tone perfectly. I don't recall Aquaman being a member back then but WTH, throw him in! And about time Fire got some decent exposure on the show, she's been a background character from the start.

You know, Darkseid stories always annoy me; he's an awesome villain but his plots don't always make sense, and the GOOD New Gods are almost never used which wasn't Kirby's original intention. Hope he's better used here. (Also, the writing this season on TB&TB hasn't been the best, seriously some episodes have been downright terrible, I pray this one turns out well.)

I think he was in the JLE for a little while.

No, Aquaman was never part of that era of the JLA/I/E. He was part of the Detroit League, then absent until he rejoined for Morrison's JLA.

But his B&tB character definitely fits the Bwahaha mold, so it's a good fit.

Fantastic episode! Easily one of the show's best.

Actually, Aquaman was in the JLE, from issues 37-50. This was from 1992-93, which was a few years before the Morrison era.

Anyway, I enjoyed the episode as well.
