Actor and singer Jesse McCartney says voicing Robin on Warner Bros. Animation's new "Young Justice" series is a great honor. The series premieres tonight on Cartoon Network, and McCartney spoke with CBR about making Robin all he can be.

Robin sounded fine. He sounded exactly like a 13-year old is supposed to sound like.

Had my doubts but he won me over, I wonder if they're still going to have him do that laughing form of a battle cry he did twice in this movie

Jesse McCartney was a terrible choice for a Robin. All the previous ones were great but he just doesn't hack it.

I liked McCartney as Robin. The voice tone was perfect for a 13 year old, and he did a great job of balancing the intelligence of the character with the smart alec attitude he needs to have. I also like the haunting, mocking laugh bit that Robin does when he disappears from sight. It combines the fact that he is Batman's partner and is frikking ninja, but also mocks his opponents while fighting them.
