Wow. Ike really is a dick, lol.
I thought it may have been a double-ended betrayal. Like he only pretended to betray the kids, and really he betray's the adults. But, it doesn't seem like it.
PULLS: Morning Glories . X-23 . Kick-Ass/Hit-Girl . Ultimate Spidy . Runaways . Usagi Yojimbo
Loving the series, but kind of bummed #3 has lots of clues for where it's going.
I thought that was the first mis-step the series took, and I think ancient conspiracies must be much more fun to write than they are to read - authors seem to love them, but too often the series becomes all about the conspiracy, and it overwhelms everything else.
Hoping this book doesn't go that way though - just the kids taking on the high school is hook enough for me.
I'm not you.
