Default Whatever happened th the All Star Batman?

When i last asked this question i was told that Miller and Lee were planning to continue their All Star Batman in a six issue limited series titled as Dark Knight: Boy Wonder.
However, when the February solicits came out i couldn't spot a single update regarding this series!
    What gives?

Lee's double duty as co-publisher is slowing things down.

I thought that even though it was announced to be back on that everyone pretty much assumed that our chances of getting the next issues were not that much improved from what they were before the announcement.

I have issue 1-10 of this series and there should be a issue 11 and 12. Is it correct that 11 and 12 haven't been released yet?

I hope this still comes out. I'd really like to see this thing concluded.

I think they're waiting until till they have all or most of these in the can, so there won't be delays again once they start releasing them.

That's probably the smartest decision made about the project to date.

It also means we'll probably see the next issue in 2030.

I believe the writer has announced he is finalizing the remainder of the script for the Twelve and it will be completed. I kinda dubt we will see an end to All Star Batman.

It'll read fine in trades and the early stuff still reads good now. I can wait.

I do wonder what'll happen to that tenth issue, though. Bundle it with the new mini?

In the end, I like Jim Lee's sort of superheroic work ethic where he's willing to stretch one project out to get in a dozen alternate covers for books that could use the push, and going to bat for other creators in ways that will never be explicit to anyone just reading the comics. That's cool and it is a great use of his time and efforts.

Wait, ASB&RTBW is still in the works? I thought it had quietly been canceled.

'Mm,' she agreed. 'He's a little bit dodgy in the same way that rats are a little bit covered in fur."

The final six issues were scheduled for February but they're not in the solicitations.
