Last week, they asked what they could be doing better.
Well, I think the Deadpool promotion answer highlights what they could improve on. Instead of going "YEAH, we suck!" they could have addressed Liefeld's comments up-front instead of dodging them. I'll give credit to Axel because he seemed to implicitly admit it was a stunt, but it'd be nice if they were upfront more often. I feel if they engaged the fans in good faith it'd be a nice move towards making the discourse here (on the whole, you'll still have your bad apples) more pleasant.

Brevoort: No, not yet, bkdane. It kind of fell off my radar a little bit as more urgent problems cropped up. For a moment there, I was considering combining "Black Widow" and "Hawkeye & Mockingbird" into this sort of split title, but we decided to do something else instead
I wonder if "something else" is McCann's Hawkeye mini or another upcoming title.![]()

I'm disappointed to hear that there's no plans for Teddy's role with the skrulls but I thought the Q & A was pretty good.
Hard to really complain about it since they did listen and feature mostly questions.
Typical, they ask for why fans react negatively to these q & a's and then just ignore. I agree with what was said above about the Deadpool poll.
Also did we really need this.
Brevoort: All right, this is officially the difficult question of the week, Gryhpon, but I'll try to give you a straight answer. The honest truth is that back when Barry announced that he was working on that project to the general internet public, he hadn't actually spoken to anybody here at Marvel about it. And, when contact was made, he said that he didn't want to show us any of the work or even an outline until there was some deal in place. Now, I have to tell you, I'm not about to buy a story blind without knowing what it is, even from a talent as great as BWS. So that's where things stand on that. I don't know if Barry is still picking away on the project or not, but if he wants to have another conversation about it, we're always open to listening.
Couldn't Tom just email BWS. I don't want to read this kind of pettiness. Read Tom kinda paints BWS as a bit of a dick with regards to this project.
Maybe he was being a dick but stating it here is purely unproffesional. If I was BWS I'd be kind of hacked off right now.
Apart from that this was as boring and pointless as usual. Seriously who picks these questions?
So they will cancel both Deadpool Corps and Deadpool Team Up?Alonso: Honestly, this was a little buzz-builder the folks in promotions cooked up. Sometimes it's good to laugh at yourself – and who better for that than Deadpool? After putting out, like, a million of Deadpool titles over the last three years, we're looking to scale back a bit: two monthlies – "Deadpool" and DeadpoolMAX" – and the occasional limited series involving one or all of the DPC.

Based on the way they answered the question, i'm, wondering if there might be some further plans for Killraven...
Awesome.... As for Chuck Kim, after his terrific work on the "Curse Of The Mutants: Storm And Gambit" one-shot, we're definitely trying to find another opportunity to have him contribute to an X-Book. We're keeping our eyes peeled and you should too!![]()

OMG dude.
Last week: "More HONESTY and REAL ANSWERS from Tom and Axel regarding OUR questions!"
This week: "Too much HONESTY! How dare Tom answer the question!
Why is everything Tom's fault here? Tom explained the situation and told BWS he could get back in contact. It's not Tom's job to chase down unsolicited submissions.
This. I thought Tom and Axel listened to last week's responses and responded directly to them -- they certainly didn't ignore them. Most of the folks, including myself, wanted more questions answered, and that's what happened this week. I really liked this week's column.
@Sabrewulf -- if you don't want to read this sort of 'pettiness' and are so damn unhappy about everything T n A say, then don't read the column. A fan asked a question and Tom responded openly. If he hadn't, he'd be grilled for dodging the question / comments, as someone said he did with Liefield. Seriously. When it comes to the fans, T n A just can't win.
