Yeah the images on ComicVine are mostly Larocca. I forget to drew him that one time in CC's Excalibur but I liked him there as well.

Odd!
Neal had a likable personality and even though his power set was somewhat generic, he used it to great effect.

Asian male characters are seldom intriguing in Marvel so they're not around that much. Jimmy Woo and Amadeus Cho are good examples of appealing male Asian heroes in 616.

has it ever been established just how Thunderbird 3 joined the x-men? does he have a real origin story? the way it was handled.. "six months later... hey, there's Neal!" threw me off...
He could have been a gateway to explore mutant issues and other politics in the subcontinent.. but I don't think this was ever dealt with at all..

I guess Kal Pen could play him if they ever bring him to screen..

He ended up on Muir Island after escaping Bastion in India. And some of the X-Men where there. Long story short he freaked out when he realized they were mutants and ran away but Jean went after him, calmed him down and offered him a place on the team. He next shows up as a full fledged team member after Revolution. I'm assuming Claremont would have filled in what he did in that gap but he never got around to it.

Chase Jimmy Woo is kind of awesome. I don't know anything about Amadeus Cho.

No the other way around. Id like to see other writers handle Lifeguard and Slipstream the same way Thunderbird got a chance to be written by someone else

Jimmy Woo is amazing. He and Neal should team up.

That would be awesome! I actually think he could learn a lot from Jimmy. Not in terms of how to use his powers but tactics wise and general training.

tb3 is one of the all-time worst x-men. it's been said before and i guess needs to be said again as another tb3 appreciation thread pops up every few years. there's a reason why he hasn't been used for years...
    and i'm counting 1, counting 2, counting 3...

I absolutely LOVE this scene. *fans* It, also, is like the best depiction of Neal.

What the hell did happen to this character? What happened in his last appearance before being limbo'd?
