imrandy, i am not sure what you mean with that. i am new to the forums but it is clear that the DH one got not that many traffic. any reasons for that? i mean thay have the best infos as being the publisher of mignola. maybe they do have a good forum host like we have here.

Yeah, having a good moderator makes a big difference. And the DH Forums don't even have a bad one. No one's been looking after it for years and it's being spammed constantly.

But I don't really miss it. This is where all the action is. Here we get pretty regular articles from CBR and even visits from Scott Allie, Guy Davis, Ben Stenbeck and Christopher Golden (there's probably someone I'm missing on that list). Not to mention everyone here is friendly, and actually capable of disagreeing with each other without becoming hostile.

Gdeo, you run a tight ship.

Yeah I guess I just remember when I first wanted to start reading Hellboy I found a lot of info on the DH forums. Posts from guys like shady and tim b over there helped me get into the mignolaverse. That said, the action here on this board is definitely much better and the lack of moderators and increase in spam over the past few months really killed the DH boards. This board is about the only forum I check regularly, but I do check the DH boards every once in a while to see if any new folks need help with anything. Just thought it was kind of a shame that the publisher forums can't keep it together.

Thanks. When I joined these forums, Shady was already taken, so I went with Middenway.

Baltimore will be so vital and pinnacly and buff it needs threads of its own? Although most threads won't be stickied I'm afraid...

Please don't be crushed. We need you!

How many more days until a new sort of Golden/Mignola-"Nesting" book will come out btw?

Been called a 'good egg'. Been told to rock, been told to steady myself. Been told to (please) be goin' places.
Chillingly good stuff besides Mignola, Slint, M, Knut and really big chunks of tinfoil?
Half sunk in the mud, with one eye showing / a cracked smile and hair still growing /
your hands miles apart, as if they'd never met / you were the happiest I'd seen you yet

Guys, I was just fooling around. Baltimore is not a part of the same universe as Hellboy et al.

Glad you like it, I find it comes in pretty handy. I wish I had some way to track how many people were actually subscribed and using it. Thanks for adding the link on your site. One teeny correction though, you've got my username on your site as imrandy58, should be imrandy85. Great job in putting all that information together!

To Mr. Golden--While Baltimore isn't in the same universe as Hellboy and friends, it certainly deserves a spot on this list. I read all the comics and it was great stuff.

"2 untitled Richard Corben projects (both already complete)" ... one of these was Being Human, so it should only be one now. Also, the "Series Under Development" is missing the two-issue Abe Sapien miniseries being developed (drawn by an artist new to the Mignolaverse and with a cover by Dave Johnson).
