hi there, stumbled into this and felt a bit lost: who do you guys think is the woman in the cover? I'm hoping that's not meant to be Kate?

Hey guys. This has probably been asked before - I may have even asked before but I have a terrible memory so Ihopefully someone can humor me :) I've always been a hellboy fan, all caught up there, but I've just jumped into the BPRD with the HC's. Plan to pick up the rest of the plague of frogs hc's then switch over to the hell on earth trades. My question concerns the two BPRD 1940s trades and the being human trade. Should I expect these to find a home in a future HC as well, or should I grab them as they are, in trade form now? I don't want to move onto hell and earth and miss them out if they don't get the omnibus treatment and forget about them. Sorry if this is simply an unanswerable question at this point and thanks for any responses :) don't come in here often since I buy in trade and don't want spoilers, but huge Mignola fan, buy everything buy him :D
Reading this week: The Unwritten: On to Genesis, Hellblazer: Scab, Mountaingirl collection
you can totally skip the 46-47 books without the main story being effected.
they're wonderful stories and should be read, but you can move past them and return to them later.
Being Human isn't a numbered trade, so it's much more of a stand alone book. again, you can move around it without the story being diminished.
Just to be difficult, I'll ask you then as well: is there a point thats too early to read these 3 books, since they kind of exist outside of the main modern day narrative? As I said, I'm playing the waiting game with the omnibuses then I'll jump onto the regular trades, and these would probably make good books to kill that time waiting for books 3 and 4.

I read BPRD trade wise and im reading BPRD: Hell on Earth Gods and Monster right now. I wonder is this the last Guy Davis drawn BPRD ? I was surprised to see this Tyler Crook artist.
I read mostly only BPRD right now and Guy Davis was a big reason.
Pull List:
The Walking Dead,Fatale,Near Death,Storm Dogs,Happy,BPRD,XO-Manowar
American Vampire,Animal Man,Swamp Thing
Daredevil, Winter Soldier,Indestructible Hulk
Yes, Gods was the last B.P.R.D. story drawn by Guy Davis as the ongoing artist. From Monsters onwards Tyler Crook is the ongoing artist for the foreseeable future. Guy Davis may return at some point, but it will be as a guest artist.
Any update on when Marquis Vol. 2 will be out???
Tyler Crook drew a badass Liz but he will judged by how well he draws the monsters. I will miss greatly Guy Davis talent with those great monsters.
I had stopped reading Hellboy in recent years but never BPRD thanks to the art of Davis. Im glad he will be back sometimes for mini series, guest spots. Also BPRD is good but his best work is Sandman Mystery Theatre so im glad to see him do other works of his own.

Forbidden Planet is listing Hell on Earth vol. 3: Russia TPB for August 2012. Not sure if that's been mentioned yet.
It already has, since it was originally projected to be released in 2011.
