Prediction for B.P.R.D.: Plague of Frogs Omnibus #4 - it'll have The Black Goddess in it, right? Well, as #3 had a redo of the Killing Ground cover, I would wager that #4 has Liz in that sort of style, perhaps with the rest of the cast in front of her again. It was said on the previous page that she's central, ergo the most likely candidate for the cover, and I think it'd be pretty cool.

is there a good mignola non-hellboy related site for all that work? wikipedia and comicbookdb.com is the best ive found so far, but it appears wiki is not complete and comicbookdb is sometimes tough to navigate and lists issues occasionally a creator did not work on.
Marvel: ASM, Deadpool, Thor, Iron Man, etc
DC: Batman and related, Green Lantern, The Flash, etc
Omnibus wishlist: Classic Deadpool, Pak Hulk, Spider-Man 2099

Here's a tease for one of Dave Johnson's new B.P.R.D. covers:

That look Varvara to anyone else?

Excellent! Can't help but wonder if this is for 1948.

I really hope so. There's been so many stories referencing the plotlines from 1946 and 1947. They're certainly building up to it. It looks like Exorcism will play a part in the lead up to it too.

Shame '48/194X HC won't be before Exorcism. Would maybe make a bit more sense that way.

How is the binding on everyone's plague vol. 3 hardcover? Mine kind of sucks because it seems looser than the previous volumes and there is dried glue sticking out at the top of the binding. I'll probably get another one from amazon but I wanted to see how others' copies were.

That sucks. I hope it's just a rare manufacturing defect.

Mine's fine. I've read a few complaints regarding this, but so far each of my volumes look good.

    Brief Tidbits from this article

    http://www.newsarama.com/comics/c2e2...rse-panel.html

4:06 "We will get Hellboy in Hell out before the end of the year."
    Friday April 13, 2012 4:06
4:07 "BPRD stuff is going to heat up" Gabrial Ba and Fabio Moon are doing new BPRD stuff set in the past
    Friday April 13, 2012 4:07
4:07 More Lobster Johnson, More Baltimore coming as well

Sounds like Ba and Moon may be on 1948

4:26 There are new deluxe edition formats coming for Hellboy and other Dark Horse properties.

I wonder if they mean more volumes of the Library Editions, or something entirely new. My guess is the former just with a little funky wording here

Cool. I expect we'll get some big announcements regarding B.P.R.D. in the next four weeks regarding the schedule for the latter half of 2012. Fingers crossed for 1948...

This is great news! I LOVED their art in BPRD: 1947! Gabriel Bá and Fábio Moon are among my favourite guest artists in the Mignolaverse.

I read BPRD: Being Human last night, and when I got to the sketchbook section and saw Ben Stenbeck's take on all the characters, I couldn't help wishing he'd pop in and visit the Hellboy Universe again. He had an interview a while back where he spoke about the possibility:
There is a two-part story I was meant to be doing with a "Hellboy-verse" character. But things get changed, I'm not sure what's happening with that now.
I hope he still gets to do it, although I know he's very busy with Baltimore. I hope he sticks around for every Baltimore story.
