The Stan Lee "Galactus" tale looks interesting!

This What If looks good. I didnt realize that it took so much out of the Sentry in order to kill Ares. It does make me wonder if Thor could have gone with him in battle as long as he did had the Sentry been rested. Hmmm.
    Common Sense.... Tingling!

I'm sensing another universe ending What if?
You know, it's kind of depressing how every time they deviate from an event for a what if, it kills everyone.

I was really hoping Marvel would finally put out a decent "What If?" book, because the concept of this issue was something I was very interested in seeing.

But then they had to go and give the book to Marc Guggenheim. Ugh.

Sure, Dave Wilkins' art is great (I've really enjoyed his covers for the X-Books, particularly New Mutants), but no artist is good enough to make up for a horrible script.

That preview was crap. It read like Loeb wrote it.

    No, thanks.
Someone once told me that time was a predator that stalked us all our lives. I rather believe that time is a companion who goes with us on the journey and reminds us to cherish every moment, because it'll never come again. What we leave behind is not as important as how we've lived. After all, we're only mortal. - Jean-Luc Picard

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move. - The Guide

Yeah, I'm not exactly sure what Sentry did which tired him out so much in that fight with Ares. Still, I suppose the MU as a whole should thank Ares for being so slow in catching on to what Osborn had done. Apparently things would have turned out far worse had he been a bit quicker on the take.

I would have preferred if the x-men were still not involved.

I really like the art here, but the script is kinda weird for the watcher.
