Abe Sapien was a major player in B.P.R.D. until in Gods #3 (March 2011) he got shot and has been out of action ever since. This month he's back, starting with A Cold Day in Hell #1 and then in his own ongoing series starting with Dark and Terrible. The team at Multiversity thought that after a two-year absence, this was worth celebrating, so this March is going to be 31 Days of Abe.
Along with all the latest Abe Sapien news, we have a ton of interviews with artists and writers that have worked with Abe over the years. We also have various artists (including Tyler Crook, Joe Querio, Patrick Reynolds and more) doing their own take on the Abe Sapien character, one every day this month (Look for the first in about an hour). And we want to see your take on the character too. We're running an art contest, The Evolution of Abe Sapien, with the winning receiving all the Hellboy Library Editions for them and their local comic book store.
On top of this, there's all the usual Mignolaversity reviews and columns. Check it out. It's awesome.
To kick things off here's Talkin’ Abe Sapien with Scott Allie.
