CBR: Eaglesham Joins "Incredible Hulk"

Marvel Comics has announced that artist Dale Eaglesham will be joining scripter Greg Pak on "Incredible Hulk" with February's issue #623, the start of the three-part "Planet Savage" storyline.

Kitson and Eaglesham are two of the better artists. Not always my cup of tea, but they're good enough.

It's great to see Ka-zar appearing in a book and he's even sporting the Andy Kubert costume once again which is awesome! With the story being a short 3 issue arc plus Eaglesham on art makes it tempting to pick up.

So you like Paul Pelletier but not Eaglesham? That's really weird since I think of them as being very similar. Both guys have clear, expressive line work and tend to look best with brighter color schemes. Personally, Dale is one my favorite artists at Marvel. Depending on what else comes out that week I may check out Hulk just for his work.

All three (Kitson, Eaglesham and Pelletier) have very similar styles.

Nice! His FF was great and he followed Hitch on that title. Can't wait to see what his Hulk looks like.

Hmm..I'm still disappointed that he left FF, but I've been hearing good things 'bout the current Hulk stuff. Personally I though Eaglesham would end up as a fill-in artist for Fraction's Thor. I might have to pick this up in trade.
