It's cool to see the original Wonder Man costume and I hope they end with him wearing the more current version of the costume and not have him be the ionic blob permanently. For me it's always been the most lackluster of his looks whereas his current red/blue/'W" costume is rather under-rated imho.

Modoc? that's a federally recognized tribe currently living in Oklahoma.

MODOK, now. that's a comic book character.

why we feel the need to swaddle children in cotton is beyond me.

They're probably going with the acronym they used in the Marvel Adventures Avengers comic: Mental Organism Designed Only for Conquest. It doesn't really change who he is and what he does, though.

I'm looking forward to this. Wonder Man's my favorite Avenger.

It kinda makes sense anyways. Why would MODOK be specifically exclusive to killing? If he's the "head" of AIM and all, shouldn't he "aim" for the whole world?

It seems he'll be stiking as a being of energy for awhile actually.

Do the backstory. His original name was indeed MODOC -- Mental Organism Designed Only for Computing.

Could be worse, he could have been Designed Only for Knitting.

This was a great episode! I'm glad they didn't get rid of Simon at the end, and that they're (apparently) going to adapt the whole Masters of Evil storyline. Hopefully Wonder Man ends up an Avenger sooner than later, and they skip his whole comatose/zombie phase.

I was glad to see him at the end too. Surprised, as well. Usually, when Wonder Man "dies" it takes longer for him to come back. Even in the old cartoon series from '99, it took until the season finale.

Ok, Thor and Wasp work well together

I have to admit that I chuckled at the Thor line "It's like a frost giant's head stuck to an infant's body."
