hehe didn't mean to offend but i honestly think that pop is dead.now is a mix of every other music gender. it's just keep being considered pop because everybody listens to it, it's popular.
but don't worry I think that Dazzler's last album indeed had good material

I wasn't offended, lol. Pop is clever. It morphs and absorbs others into its being while masking its presence/intentions from wary hipsters, much like Mystique.

I'm sorry, I'll do my best to keep things mythically wonderful <3. In the spirit of escapism, should we rename the thread? Welsh/Spanish is real life, perhaps it should be Genoshan/Madripoorian?

Nirvana is pop in my book, their first LP I'd classify as legitimate "grunge" but after Nevermind, they went straight to pop in my book, also, they really aren't that good. Plastic People of the Universe are more enjoyable despite being completely daffy.

I also like singer song writers like Tori Amos and Yoko Kanno. The J-Rock band [J=Japanese] The Pillows have kickin' music that run the gamut of fast rock, jamming beats, and some nice slow tunes that suit my mood when I walk home at night.

The indie band the Yeah Yeah Yeahs are totally in my top three favorite bands, along with the Goo Goo Dolls and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and I loves me some Flobots.

Try getting some of their EPs, those are neat, lots of great songs. I had a friend download the YYYs' EPs and the It Blitz LP to my iPod; I bought Fever to Tell and Show Your Bones already and put those on my iPod. Karen O is sooooo hawt in a weird sort of way, that kicks ass.
