"Heroes" actor Milo Ventimiglia may be headed back to the show's network for a brand new series based on the comic book project he co-created, with "Smallville" writer Philip Levens adapting the project.

It definitely helps to have a star name attached to a book, but how much of the book did he create? Previous stories make it seem like he picked up a script by Mike O'Sullivan and went from there...

Not trying to be negative, but seems like there is some interesting history with the creation and the multiple companies involved.
