    These seem...really good?

AvX preorders were supposed to be huge, so even 45% of that.....

No, these are the numbers in comparison to Batman. Batman is always used as the measuring stick within these.

(Don't ask me why. It just is.)

AvX #2, for example, was 121.48 of Batman.
The monster saved them all. And in their fear, they betrayed him. As they always have. As they always will.

So it's still holding steady if not going up a little bit, that's good.

Venom and Scarlet are steady, which is also good. Though Scarlet should still sell more. Cause it''s awesome.

Sad to know. I was hoping that 10,000 copy jump for Punisher was legit.

I have been loving Snyder's "Batman" since the New 52 but is anyone else surprised at just how well (and consistenly well 9 months down the road) it is selling? I mean....wow.

Glad to see Spidey holding his own during another mega-crossover event and I just hope Scarlet Spider and Venom both continue to hold, if not grow, their audiences as both books are the bomb-diggety!

I'd like to point out to the guy who was convinced that Scarlet Spider's sales were dropping precipitously that, if these numbers are to be believed, it actually sold about 500 MORE copies in April than in March. Bucking the trend.

I imagine Wacker's trying to insinuate that the estimates are low. If the estimates were high, I doubt he would say anything.

Ok glad to see the book doing well but I'm not about to apologize for worrying about the safety of a book given how fast & frequently new titles fail/get cancelled...I don't want this or any book to fail BUT I also don't set myself up with unrealistic expectations one way or the other about a book until I see reason to do so.......The book gained readers this month so I'm a bit more positive BUT I'm not gonna jump up and down cheering when I see the book losing sales.

Agreed; that is unusual indeed particularly when the title did not tie-in with any big event or even another title for a crossover story. Maybe, just maybe, the overwhelmingly positive word of mouth is helping this title; if so, well deserved and I am glad to hear it!
