I haven't even seen a report of the official beta start on any of the sites that would normaly have it.

Apparently it's just a "Friends & Family" beta.

Why Blizzard even bothered to announced this bullshit publicly is beyond me.

Well I'll be going Demon Hunter and my best friend from secondary school will be going Sorc. So we'll be a pair of squishies constantly trying to get the other bloke to take point.

I think I will play Witch Doctor, I beat the last one with the sorceror but it looks like the Wizard in this one lacks utility in thier orb choices. I'm not a big fan of the melee types as range gives you maneuverability when fighting bosses. Nothing worse than having to run up to a boss and getting pwned real quick because you can't get out of the way of thier attacks.

According to Best Buy the release date for Diablo 3 is Feb 1st. Take that with a grain of salt because they have listed dates wrong in the past, sometimes as a place holder, and there have been times when the company releasing the game pushes the release date back.

However that is seriously going to cramp my Kingdoms of Amalur time.

I figured they would release it the same time as Mass Effect 3 came out as a big blizzard middle finger to the creators of Star Wars MMO which has taken some of WoW's playerbase.

I also found this which says 25031614, I think it might be days, hours and seconds when the photo was snapped as it is 25 days away from today but unless its counting micro seconds the 14 does not make any sense.

Again, grain of salt but it is news.
