Interesting to see Black Widow in the new Heroes for Hire artwork!
I'll leave others to comment on the mess that is the pricing debacle...

Why doesn't Jerome ever stick around for more than just the opening arc?

Still nothing on Captain America: The Fighting Avenger?
This just in: Chris Sprouse has pulled out of Orson Scott Card.

X-Force has been the best X-book (team book) for a while now. As X-force and now as UXF.

So it was either a lie or a misinterpretation of what they said about prices on new books going to $2.99. Now its only "some" books that will start at $2.99 and some invariably will mean almost none.

The Crossgen stuff was interesting though as I loved Crossgen when it was out and the way things are going it may well be the only Marvel stuff I'm still reading by that time given the sour taste Marvel has put in my mouth the last few years with the destruction of Spiderman, the deteriorating quality of the X-franchise (excellent Carey stuff being the exception), the cancellation of the cosmic books, and the $3.99 prices. Of course knowing Marvel they'll probably price the Crossgen at $3.99 too which will doom it.

I'm not gonna lie, Sable is one of the reasons I'll pick up that book.

Present day Marvel lies more than politicians. They're also not nearly as good at it as politicians.
Read about the greatest series ever, Alpha Flight...from the beginning!

I'm just keen to read some Abnett - Lanning storytelling. I missed their cosmic stuff but it sounds like they are a great writing team.

These T&A articles do nothing but bad things for Marvel in my eyes. I just find the two guys here to be incredibly condescending and evasive on every facet of this interview. The preview art is nice though.

Default Thanks for the news (but the news is bad)

Sorry to hear that Marvel is not going to reduce their prices (in general). Though I appreciate the honesty of these guys, I won't be buying their overpriced books. The $4 price is a reason that I've bought none of the Ultimates books, despite my interest in them.

However, DC comics continue to get a higher percentage of my spending, and I've been pleased with my choices. Some series have been outstanding, particularly Jonah Hex and REBELS, for example.
