Why the Ultimate Version?
Why, why, why this Ultimate crap.
First Cap and now they'll even do an Ultimate Spidey version. I hate todays marvel so much...

There are a few similarities to the Ultimate costume certainly, but I think the reason they've done that is it just plain looks better. Had they gone with the full on vivid day-glo red, white and blue with the head-wings, there would have been uproar.

The Hydra guys on bikes and the submarine gives this sort of 1940s serial vibe (with a modern budget). I think this could be fun. I don't know if a mass audience will go for it but I like the look of the movie so far.

Definitely liking what I'm seeing so far. I suspect a more "classic" outfit might make an appearance in AVENGERS. Hugo Weaving is certainly giving off the right vibe, and the Hydra move could just pay off big time.

I honestly don't see them switching the costumes (or at least make drastic alterations) for Avengers. The final Cap costume they have now seems to fit pretty well with how Thor and Iron Man look. Originally Posted by The Patent Dragon
