I would have been more than happy if Acuna stayed on for the whole arc, but after seeing these pages, I think I might change my mind. Now THAT is type of artwork I expect from an artist like Guice.
And perhaps there is a bit of truth behind the idea of 50's Cap being the new Master Man...
No more Acuna artwork?
I loved Guice's preview.![]()

Top 10: Hawkguy, GIJoe Cobra, The Massive, Daredevil, Wonder Woman, Fury MAX, The Black Beetle, Batman, Winter Soldier, Suicide Squad, and The Activity.
Gah! For a second, I though the Tron cover was an actual new look for Cap.
The Punisher: I’m going to cauterize your rectum, sealing it shut, so when you turn those delicious Pink Pants™ Fruit Pies into waste products the bilirubin in your feces will leach into your bloodstream and you’ll die screaming! And I’ll watch while having sex with this grateful prostitute!
Trussed-Up Hooker: Blueberry are my favorite!
In other words, what StoneGold said.

This is a great looking preview! Guice is back, and rocking these pages. It's good to see him back.
Also that Mark Brooks alternate cover is cool. Plus the Marko Jdurdjevic covers are always awesome.
"Welcome to the party pal!" - John McClane
Huge improvement from Guice's usual stuff on this series--which was good to begin with. I'd have loved to see Acuna stay on for the arc though, to be honest. He was fantastic last issue.
