The CW has released a batch of photos and the plot synopsis for next week's episode of "Smallville," titles "Ambush" and featuring the debut of Ted Whittall as Rick Flagg. "Ambush" airs next Friday at 8PM.

A minor correction if I may: It's Flag, not Flagg. Reuben Flagg is Howard Chaykin's anti-hero from the 80's independent series American Flagg!
Great to see Michael Ironside as Sam Lane. Perfect casting.
