I think it was asked in a different thread, if not another message board. And Marvel pretty much swept it under the rug until reminded.
Keep an eye out for forum member HulkSmash announcements though, who is publishing his own 50th anniversary celebration of the Hulk that should be out in a few months, because quite frankly -- Marvel's sad, pathetic and vastly underwhelming attempt to "celebrate" the Hulk's 50th is beyond disappointing as they interview artists, writers and editors who like to spend more time talking about the Red Hulk instead of the green one.

I see, probably that's why it's not mentioned there in Marvel's site.

At least Ross has his 50th anniversary as well
But they should celebrate Banner, he's the good character, and his green alter-ego

Only Parker's interview focused on Red Hulk though. And it is Ross's 50th anniversary too.

That's the thing -- Ross, not the Red Hulk, has been a supporting character in the Incredible Hulk title for the last 50 years -- and has pretty much been an irregular one at that since 1987. (Dead, resurrection, etc.)
Why not celebrate one for Rick Jones, then? He's had more exposure in Captain America, Rom, 3 different volumes of Captain Marvel, and off-and-on in the Hulk book as well.
Hell, he was a Hulk long before Ross was!!! Twice!!!!!!

I'll buy a Red Hulk book in the year 2058 to celebrate his 50th anniversary, if comics are still around and I'm still sucking air.
Until then, I'd like to see more love from Marvel on the Incredible Hulk making 50 years...

    And he made the Hulk
Actually, I think Rick deserves to be celebrated, he's awesome, my favorite supporting character ever

Unlike the Banner/Hulk dynamic, Ross and Red Hulk are the same. So there's no point in trying to draw a distinction between the two.

But yes, there should be something more for the original. That being said, there's nothing saying we can't celebrate Ross' contribution, either. There is no "wrong" answer to that.

So I guess it's official; Mark Waid is to be the new writer on a new Hulk book? Color me excited...and I'm holding my breath as to how long Leinil Yu is the artist -- they said the same thing about Marc Silvestri, and he was only contracted to do 3 issues.

Basically, yes. Here's the post I've made on comicboards.com a couple of days ago:

Hulk's editor, Mark Paniccia, 'confirmed', in a tweet for our buddy ''FrazettaHulk'', that we'll get the Waid/Yu combo as the new creative team!

    Here are the tweets:

@MarkPaniccia Really great and inspired choices putting Waid and Yu on Inc Hulk. I think they'll be outstanding. ‪#CAN‬'T WAIT

    Mark Paniccia ‏@MarkPaniccia
@FrazettaHulk Yes, this is gonna be good, dude. I PROMISE!

    Great! Looking forward to Waid.

Anyone have any theories on what that floating robot/thing is in front of Hulk in the Marvel Now promo? I'm guessing it's Banner; his body somehow gets destroyed (perhaps it already is) and his mind/consciousness gets transferred to that floating robot.

Interesting theory, mate. I hadn't thought about it at all.

Wonder if it's part of Iron Man's new get-up?
    No clue, really.

Hulk/Rom commission by Sal Buscema; something we won't see in the upcoming "Regression" tpb...

Thumbs up to Simon Williams for inking a sketch originally done by Sal Buscema and in blue pencil for the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe (Deluxe Edition back in 1986) that got bumped for John Byrne's fugly version.
This would have been great to look at instead of the flat slab presented (not to mention the omission of a lot of recent Hulk history at the time -- BIC Hulk and mindless stints).
