Oh, cool, I have nine minutes to read this. Just in time.

EDIT: Oh, forget it. The boss is generously letting us off eight minutes early.

The interview would've gone a lot easier if the questioners had read Jason Aaron's Wolverine comics.

Jason Aaron's place in heaven is assured for bringing back Puck.

You know Marvel have pretty much killed my interest in Wolverine. I couldn't care less about the character anymore.

Still this is one hell of a well written book and my disdain for the main character aside I cant help but love this series so far.

Big plans for Puck elsewhere. Please don't let it be an Avengers book. Please let it be a new Alpha Flight series.

As I suspected, Mike Carey next week. My fingers are a-quivering in passive aggressive anticipation.

    2) I'm straying off the X-topic here, but since "Full Metal Jacket" is one of my favorite films, I've got to ask: did your cousin ever tell you any funny anecdotes about Kubrick? Any chance you can share one?

My cousin was a big, loud, self-educated Southern man who was very opinionated and never afraid to ruffle feathers. In other words, he was a big personality. He and Kubrick (a big personality and ego in his own right) only met in person one time, over dinner at Kubrick's house. About halfway through dinner, Kubrick passed a note to Michael Herr, the other screenwriter on FMJ, that simply said, "I can't deal with this man," meaning my cousin. After that, Gus wasn't welcome around Kubrick...though he did sneak onto the set one time during filming. I have all the photos he took that day.
Arf. Empire, the now crappy UK film magazine, used to have an ongoing joke about Kubrick's OCD and love of order and neatness. This compliments that picture nicely.

I sent in a question to Carey about when he's going to bring Regan back

"Writing Wolverine seems to be a challenge as he can heal from almost any wound. What do you think his biggest vulnerability is?

    Beer and redheads.

Hence, the explanation behind Wolverine's popularity."

Awesome response! Thanks for the laugh guys!

    • "Renaldo" has terrible taste.
    • Glad we kept the "Are we going to see [character]?" questions to just three. Or four. I stopped counting.
    • Jason Aaron rules and saved this interview.
    • Jason Aaron's Wolverine books rule and you should be buying them.

Jason Aaron is awesome. The questions did get repetitive, but his answers made up for it.
