I was out of comics when DC One Million was originally published and just discovered it a few months ago, basically picked up every tie-in issue and love the entire storyline, the characters, and the new worlds it opens up.
Looking forward to this story very much.
I'm not familiar with the DC One Million characters, but this sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to it.
If this has Robin the Toy Wonder in it I'm sold.
I love the One Million stuff. I think I might pick this up.
Pull List: Action Comics, Green Lantern, GLC, GL: New Guardians, Justice League, The Flash, Batman Inc, Batman, Nightwing, Batman & Robin, Dial H, Animal Man, Frankenstien, Earth-2
I'm incredibly excited about this two-parter! A couple of article corrections though: DC One Million did not take place millions of years in the future, but one million months in the future. Also, the art you've featured should be credited to Fiona Staples.
Dean, solid point on the '1 million years' 1 million months bit, because it's something Roberson sort of took Morrison to task for (gently, jokingly, of course) in a past interview (Morrison himself made the mistake in All Star Superman).
1. Roberson is 100% right in that it's a god damn shame the way Morrison's characters aren't getting wider use. He's the modern day Jack Kirby as far as idea and character engines go, with books like Seven Soldiers, JLA, Batman, etc giving birth to an entire UNIVERSE worth of compelling heroes, villains and supporting players.
2. I love how close Roberson obviously looked at this. Nice to see someone do their homework and, hopefully, try to replicate the feel of the source material a bit.
I've never read DC One Million (I want to though), but I'll be picking this up. It sounds pretty cool.
Chill.
dam it When i read back to the future in the title I thought Batman and Superman will meet "Doc" Brown and Marty McFly![]()
From the intro: "DC One Million future presented a world millions of years in the future"
DC 1,000,000 was in the 853rd century. Some one either didn't read it, or is very bad at math.
Pull List; seems to be too long to fit in my sig...
