Yeah. It's bullshit excuse. It is basically an admissions that the structure of the plot does not work. That the events that occured within the structure of the narrative, where the pretense is fiction, doesn't work logically under the auspice of the world created within that narrative,

Nothing wrong with liking a bad story, but it's still a bad story. At least, badly told anyway.

Barrett is wrestling for the title Sunday. It started out to prove they belong after shit they went through on NXT. Now they humilate Cena.... and it is awesome.

that's why this angle is working right now. nexus has made cena's life a living hell and it all came to a head at HIAC when cena lost. that's why i like it. it made sense: have cena join the group that has screwed him out of the title and messed up his career and there is not a damn thing cena can do about. and i'm enjoying it.

this TNA story makes no sense what so ever. and its made even worse with hogan and bitchoff at the center of it. the same guys who came in and said they werent gonna be on tv much.

sorry but the cost of this story line isnt worth it.

I haven't watched RAW in weeks (beyond the clip a few weeks back) have they ever decided what Nexus is after really ...now 5 months in ? Power ? RAW ? Cena ?

Initially they wanted contracts, which they got.

Now Wade Barret is making it no secret he's after the world title. And he's got that title shot, with Cena in his corner.

That is one of the reasons Raw has been watchable again, granted the show still has flaws but atleast on Raw you had Cena using this current angle with Nexus to actually get the group over. You have your Cena fans hoping that Wade Barrett pushes Cena to the point that he snaps and attack Barrett for all the humiliation Barrett put Cena through and you have your Cena haters loving the way Cena is getting humiliated week after week. At the end of the day Nexus is benefitting from the storyline and Cena was willing to help them get over. This is the same Cena who most posters complain that he is no different from HHH when it comes to holding people back.

Least Barrett is finally doing something I guess. I gave up after weeks of Barrett holding meetings backstage telling his guys...this is the plan....and we'd get the same result.

Not really. In all of pro wrestling the storylines are fake. I mean how many times has Vince McMahon lost his company onscreen , fought and regained it. Hell last year for a week he lost it to Donald Trump and regained it.

Dixie is no different. If you want "real" watch a show that isn't pro wrestling.

I'm pretty glad that im not watching RAW. I mean I never gave much of a crap for Cena anyhow. Nexus basically being around to humilate Cena now doesn't make me interested in the angle.

Ill come back in a few months when Nexus is over. I guess I would have cared if Nexus did more and had a better plan the months they started. Or had Cena join fully and go full heel instead of this..."Watch them push John Cena to his limits to snap..."

PWTorch.com is reporting that WWE is set to hire anywhere from 100 to 140 new employees in preparation for the launch of its new "WWE Network." During his latest conference call, Vince McMahon said that WWE will begin talks with cable companies in January 2011 regarding picking up the new network. It's also being reported that WWE spokesperson Robert Zimmerman has said that the company's already hired 55 new employees and a majority of them have been from the Connecticut area.

This should be nice. I can't wait til we get a full channel and days of watching ECW , AWA , Mid-South and the rest.

I rarely have seen Hogan on my TV. I see evil Uncle Eric....but hell ...Eric Bischoff has done more to be evil than Wade Barrett has. To compare:


Wade Barrett :

- Shows up with Nexus and destroys the ring and everyone.

- Repeats this to get WWE contracts.

- Gets Cena in a stipulation months in.

- Goes after World title finally 5-6 months in.


Eric Bischoff:

- Comes into TNA with Hogan in Jan. 4th.

- Plots with Hogan to get power.

- Unites Hogan and Flair after 20+ years of fueding .

- Forms a super heel group that takes over TNA.

- Has Dixie lose her company on screen to him and Hogan.


Wade ...ya can learn a lot from Eric Bischoff in taking over a company onscreen.

i've also noticed that in all the TNA commericals that list off who will be on impact/PPV, hogan always is named first.

that should say something about how much hogan cares about TNA.
