I wish people wouldn't correct other posters' grammar when their grammar needs serious work. There should be a rule about that..... (Obviously, this isn't about you, Phoenix).

Well, I'm still catching up on my New X-men reading, so I haven't read the storyline of Wallflower dying. So I'm not sure I can fully respond to their scene in Necrosha yet.

Wither had a lot of potential to be his generation's Rogue. He also could have deftly picked up the goth/emo slot that was left by Chamber from Generation X and fit into the Vampire Diaries, Twilight, etc tortured romantic brooding dark male archetype.
I was happy that he fell in with Selene, especially given Selene's history with Kevin's former teacher Danielle Moonstar, but disappointed that he didn't have a longer run as a character.

How do you like em so far?

The Academy-X ones were okay. The art, for the most part, was atrocious (those big noses bugged me). The storylines, occasionally, got on my nerves, especially when it was clear I should be reading NXM alongside the other X-books. So having Northstar's death off panel was awkward storytelling without the book to prop it up.

BUT, I liked some of the characters, like Wind Dancer, Wither, Prodigy, and Elixir. And, I always love Dani!
