Maybe some can't get as much emotion or depict the struggle the people (I hate referring to real people in true stories as "characters") go through if they happen to be military. That, fortunately, is not a limitation those who've worked on "Untold Stories from Iraq and Afghanistan" have encountered, particularly since we've worked directly with the troops who contributed their reminisces, journal entries, and so forth to the book.

For those attending Virginia Comic Con, come visit Heroes Fallen Studios' booth in the publishers' hall. Many of the artists involved in "Untold Stories from Iraq and Afghanistan" will be there. A limited edition print of the story "Unbroken Spirit" will be available, and we will be raffling off an "Untold Stories from Iraq and Afghanistan" poster autographed by many of the writers and artists involved.

Since I won't be able to be there myself, I would hope that those of you who will be there can drop by the booth and tell the folks there hello for me. :)

For those of you who, like me, missed the fun of Virginia Comic Con, some friends who were there were happy to share pictures.
