"Bringing back" Batman Beyond involved...
Killing Batman Beyond villains.
Shoehorning in old Batman villains.
Changing all the characters personalities and appearances.
Altering the Batman Beyond continuity.
Focusing exclusively on characters who were specifically left out of Batman Beyond.
Making it an official alternate "earth" in the 52.
...
Every one of those things should have been on a list of stuff that they would absolutely not be allowed to do to Batman Beyond.
What was the purpose of bringing this back if they were literally going to contradict everything that Batman Beyond was about?
Terry is the main character. Terry's villains are the main antagonists. Bruce is a supporting character, and his cast is held to cameo appearances and allusions.
This helps to keep the focus on the new hero, while still building on the world of the original. When a classic Batman character is brought in, it is made all the more special because of its scarcity.
All of this and yet you still have some people trying to defend it and say the last two issues will somehow save it. I want to see Batman Beyond continued, but I'm not desperate enough to accept the crap that is currently being given to us and called Batman Beyond when it really isn't. I would have less problems with it if Beechen would just admit this isn't the story that came from DCAU which he has claims it is.

Why, oh why must Guillem March leave the book after this arc? Man, he's really clicking with this title. :(
I have no interest at all in Batman Beyond, which is a shame, because that cover is absolutely fantastic. I love Dustin Nguyen's work, and that's one of the best covers of the year.
That Ragman comic looks surprisingly interesting. I might pick it up. Maybe.
Vacancy
Ragman for sure, I really like Gage's work. Azrael of course. Batman Beyond, though I liked the cartoon, I never started reading.

I am an anarchist. Deal with it.

Ragman looks definetely interesting...
Segovia' art is awesome and reminded me Ducan Fegredo at his best...
maybe a way to prepare readers to the up-coming returns of the Vertigo Characters in the current DCU ?
Wait and see...
Will be getting the Ragman one shot as it'll probably tie in to Azrael anyways. And, of course, I'll be grabbing the Azrael!

if my shop ordered any of the ragman issue, i will pick it up.
Wow, that Azrael preview. I just love David Hine's story. Talk about socking it to the Catholic Church. Magdalen laundries indeed!
I take it that means you'll be picking it up? Good! We'll all discuss when it comes out. Well, when I can afford to pick it up :D.

Beechen just didn't do what I think he did? *rereads the preview page*
BLOW IT UP!!
Behold, I shall be a blight upon the land, and everything I touch shall wither and die!
The Ragman one-shot is followed by a back-up in Streets of Gotham, writer Fabian Nicieza and artiest Symon Kudranski (RH Commisionor Gordon). DC wants to put this guy out there. I have no problems with at all
I just hope Dini turns SoG around, I dont want to be buying a title for the back-up alone.
