Doing an image search for "amazons" yielded lots of results, including some lovely classical art pieces, and I thought Iīd share some of them, not all, as some contain nudity, and though we all know nudity in comics and movies is *bad* (for some reason), nudity in classical art is somehow okay to let children see, but even so, I donīt want to risk being banned. So...

I found this interesting page about Amazons. There are pictures on it, too. It says the Amazons of Greek mythology were considered the children of Ares and Harmonia. It also lists the names of the Amazons from mythology.
