I thought it was going to be the Lizard as soon as I saw Rhys personally. What do you all think?

Not a bad choice if true. I still want to see a big screen Mysterio though.
Everything burns...
Wonder if they're going to try and throw more villains into the mix, or keep it at one.
Though it's kind of disappointing they were seeding the Lizard idea in the first 3 movies and now in the reboot does it potentially pay off.
I like this news. I think a Lizard story can be pretty good.
Just please, no Kraven!
A lot of people get sentience confused for sapience. Your hamster is sentient, you are sapient. Intelligence is sapience.
I sometimes wonder if Venom weren't used just to put butts in the seats then maybe they could have used The Lizard. They could have still used Harry Osborne as the villain and have it be that he was behind Dr.Conners ending up as The Lizard.
Speaking of Harry is he still going to be in the reboot or is he going to get written out?

They couldve made Spidy 4 With the Lizard and yet the reboted it with a new cast thats what i dont understand
I honestly don't care who the villain is, I just don't want to have to watch another bloody origin story. The Lizard is a good shout though. He's something different at least.

You gonna get us out of here. With that tight-ass Wolverine outfit on. Now, let's make it happen, asshole
YOST: Okay, it's not Jean Grey. Nobody likes her
Lizard is a great villain for the reboot. The dynamic between an inexperienced Peter Parker and a monster he doesn't want to hurt should be fantastic. I was just watching the Lizard episode of the SSM cartoon the other day and it's one of the best episodes of the series! The Lizard is sympathetic and terrifying all at once.

The Lizard is a good pick but I still want to see The Scorpion and the spider slayers.
Religion is like a fart. It's only good when all the others stink.
The big problem was that the studio couldn't keep their dirty little hands out of it. Raimi was doing a wonderful job, and the first two films are just INCREDIBLE. It was only in the third that the studio pushed and coerced and whatever else they had to do to get Raimi to do it their way that caused the third one to fall apart. If the studio had left Raimi to his own devices, they could now have had the fourth one out, and he could be working on the fifth right now.
Let the people who know what they are doing make the movies they want to make and the audience will follow.

Did you see what Raimi had in store for SM4? He wanted Vulture to take over the Bugle, Pete would get involved with Vultures daughter behind MJs back, Spidey would accidently kill Vulture in a fight, and then Vultures daughter would take on his mantle and go after Spidey.
It sounded shite.
Has to remember his suggestion for the traitor game
