I am a very recent convert to The Walking Dead world. I have never been much for Zombie's - but I found the 48 issue, Compendium at Big Apple Con for $25!!! I could not pass it up, with all of the ridiculous recommendations I was getting all around me. And $25 for 48 issues of anything is at least worth a shot. And...I'm sold out, infected, you pick a word involving it roping me in - that's what happened.
I'll definitely be grabbing the novels. I'm about 2/3 of the way through the Compendium - so everything is still quite fresh in my mind. I'll be excited to see who it centers around.
hahahahhaha, seriously, they never finished Image United? You'd think after the Image10 debacle they'd have learned to get it in the can before soliciting it...
============ Just say "NO!" to $4 books. ============
Kirkman is getting the full on Todd McFarlane experience .. which includes making excuses for Todd McFarlane .. Haunt also started out gangbusters .. but now .. it's trapped in McFarlane land.
Image United? is turning into a big fail .. more like Image Stymied.
it could have been a big win .. was announced and designed as the big Image Universe unifying concept .. a major accomplishment for creator owned comics..
but now .. who cares if it comes out anymore? Maybe one day .. 5 years from now .. it will be a nice TPB .. if it is even valid anymore ..
