All good stuff here, especially like:
    1) The increased amount of issues! (IF I could have this for any series I'm buying it would be this one)
    2) The premise of the anniversary issue
    3) Pichelli's art

    Thumbs up

Ten years and 150 issues later, this is still the best Spider-Man book Marvel/Disney produces. Now, if it were $2.99 it would be the GREATEST Spider-Man book Marvel/Disney produces.

Couldn't agree more! This is the only book I still get giddy and excited goosebumps for. Maybe thats strange? Lol. Its just been great since day one, plus its basically the book Ive grown up with. Issue 1 came out and Marvel streamed it on their site when I was, I think, 10 or 11. When I got back into comics about 4 years ago thats where I picked up again and I never looked back. I am very excited to see spideys future. Ultimate is very unpredictable and I think thats why I've always been an Ultimate guy.

I do feel like it was time for Bagley to move on when he did though. Don't get me wrong, his art was fantastic and helped contribute to the books success. But I'm all about seeing new artists interpretations, so seeing what Immonen and LaFuente have accomplished I feel like it was the right choice. Plus the preview of Pichelli's work is just.. wow. First time I've been taken aback by art in a long time.

and if this book gets anywhere near 14-16 issues next year, I think I'll be the happiest spidey fan out there lol

When Bagley and Immonen were drawing it, this was the only book I would regularly buy oversized hardcover collections of. Since the relaunch I haven't given it a glance. As much as I like Bendis's take on Spider-Man, Lafuente's art didn't really do it for me. With Pichelli coming on board, I might have to make a return visit.I really like her work and her style seems like a great fit for this book.

I'm hoping it has similar effects on all of us; the last two issues I couldn't read in one sit down, by which I mean when it got too exciting I had to walk around for a while before coming back to it :P.

Dang it. I don't know if I'm able to stomach her art.

But Sara's style is blending of Adam Pollina and Colleen Doran?

It's so stylized and awesome. No traditional stuff here. Unique as it gets.

Why do so many comic book fans like boring "safe" art styles?

I think it's a complete step up from La Fuente's art. At least she can actually draw faces (even if don't necessarily like the way Peter looks in the last panel.)

Wish she was a mainstay on this book... the art was been what's really been keeping me back from enjoying it. I thought I would eventually be able to adjust to it, but here we are, 15 issues later, and I still can't stand La Fuentes art anymore than I could the first time I saw it. (Or rather the second, because for whatever reason I actually somewhat enjoyed it in the annual he did before he became the main artist on this book.)

What the hell does that have to do with anything? I'm all for unique and abstract character designs. Hell I love Lafuente on this book. But I truly dislike Pichelli's art. That is all.

I like stylized art but not every style.

Lol, you must have seen the way she drew Nightcrawler in the Pixie mini? She did struggle with making Kurt look decent.

Eh, No actually. Her work on "Runaways" was just terrible... Those four entire issues were just terrible with Kathryn Immomen writing. Only saving grace was Lafuente on covers.
