Good news on Waid being involved. Also, in the Simon Archard art you can see nods to Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang; Route 666; Way of the Rat; and possibly El Cazador. There are probably more, I just haven't figured them out yet.

Add me to those excited about Ruse. I wish I'd known about it before it was canceled. I've got the first two trades, but have never seen the post-Waid issues.

Any thoughts on those from those who did read them?

Arwyn's bow from Sojourn is in there too, and broken.

Which object is Way of the Rat?

I'm quite excited about this. I was half expecting Waid to come back for more Ruse, but great to have it semi-confirmed.

Any thoughts on the other image?

I think the ring, next to the guns.

Looking good so far. They changed the sigil a bit, but it works for me.

While still very good, the book did lose some steam after Waid left. I can't say how excited I am that this book is returning!!

Out of respect, Greg Land should be assigned one project.

It looks to me like there's a rat right in front of Archard. Its tail is on Arwyn's bow. (Don't know how I missed that one.)

I think the ring is meant to be a nod to Sigil. "Sigil" is another term for a signet ring.

I dunno, those seem very different references from the rest. That possible rat looks more like a reptile of some kind to me, so my first thought was of the Saurians, although admittedly that reference is just as vague as the ones I just discounted.

The "C" in the wood could be a reference of Meridian because is the symbol of Cadador.

And i think Greg Land must be in Sojourn again.

I'm very excited for this return of Crossgen, but Marvel but marvel should not forget Scion, Negation and Crux.

PD: Hello to all. I'm a spanish fan of Crossgen.

I read the first volume of Ruse and enjoyed it. I'm reading the first volume of Meridian and enjoying that.

I've always meant to check out Way of the Rat.

The only prominent red-haired character I can think of from CrossGren is Ashleigh. So perhaps that means Scion returns as well?

I can't say I'm a fan of the new sigil.

    * It looks as if there's a piece of Arwen's bow on that table,
    * the flag from the path,
    * the sword from el cazador,
    * the stone face of altwaal from The First,
    * Guns from kiss kiss bang bang, (hence the lipstick on the bottom of the guns)
    * The ring from way of the rat,
    * Piece of wood with an image on it from Meridian
    * Lock of hair with a bowtie on it, looks like the tail of the little puppie of Negation.
    * Dead lizzard, linking to sigil
    * The map, Route 66

Dunno if there are any more clues..

All the while Simon's holding a pendant with the sigil between his hands.

    I guess that's them?

Oh, yeah. Been a while since I read the books, myself. The ring could be the Ring of Staffs. (Thank you, Wikipedia.)
