I would love that. Could you imagine Storm leading a team that had their own airborne fortress. I would personally love that. No more mansion, island... Let's see something different.

I doubt it. It's just one arc. Hopefully, it's a success and Storm can lead the team until Kitty is released from her jar.

You can doubt it all you want and knowing you you will. But Gischler said that they would be traveling all over the world and that Storm would be leading it after that arc. So again if you want to make stuff up just to sooth yourself that's fine but please read the interview before you post stuff.

Is this is a new article? I thought this was a Mutants meets the MU book, I'd say they'd be a new guest star and a shift in team in the next arc depending on the nature of the story. I have a feeling Emma will tag along as the team telepath in this Spidey arc.

It'll only be for one arc. I think the only mainstay that he has mentioned is Gambit, that's from his first interview. Possibly Storm seeing as how she doesn't have many responsibilities at the moment. But I can see Scott and Emma popping up to team up with Captain America and Iron Man every once in a while.

Fun Fact # 1- Those of you who have seen the special edition X-Men 1.5 DVD, did any of you come across the special feature or deleted scene of an extended fight scene between Storm and Toad? It was right before he kicked her into an elevator and I believe he had pinned her down onto a bar or something and was stroking her cheek saying some people are born lucky to have such pretty skin. And then she kicked his ass across the bar and into some liquor bottles! Lol. That was funny.

Yes! I actually do remember this scene from the dvd. But sadly I only got to see this once or twice before the dvd was stolen the next day. I wonder if someone uploaded it to youtube somewhere?

Gischler kicks of the new year by sending them to New York, and before the year is out they'll have visited locales all over the Marvel Universe. "You might not see it in every single issue of every single arc, but future stories will have the X-Men traveling to trouble spots all over the world," Gischler revealed. "This new adjectiveless 'X-Men' title was designed to be the adventures of the 'Heroic Age' X-Men. The title is supposed to engage the Marvel Universe in that way. In a general sense that's the direction of the book."

Read about it here. It's not new. The cast is rotating but it seems that unless Scott trusts Magneto or Namor to lead a group of A list mutants it's safe to say Storm will be doing a lot of that.

Oh I thought you were talking about a different article. I read that line as the entire X-Men roster not just the team that is formed in the next arc.
Well if the story allows for it, Scott or Namor or Magneto or even Emma could possibly lead. Depends on the situation the X-Men find themselves in.
