Dont worry, I'm sure it will end with the return of Jim Corrigan.

The Legion Academy thing sounds interesting though. And yay on more Phil J artwork!

I really hope it doesn't, Corrigan leaving the Spectre behind and going to heaven was one of the best stories I've read. He deserves his happiness.

A fan asked when Nightwing would be coming back. "He's not," Sattler said.
I guess he will be demoted to sidekick Batman forever.

...And does Mr. Goddanm Batman says so much as ''Thanks''? OF COURSE not. That'd hardly be GRIM AND GRITTY, would it?

Kinda hard to swing that since they:
    1. Closed the book on the original Jim as Spectre, like Noh-Varr said.
    2. Basically turned the modern JC into a scumbag crook.

    And what's wrong with Crispus?

Crispus is...OK. The best thing was that he was forced to kill his son, though.

I'd still want a different route, though. Maybe a pacifist host?

The Crime Syndicate storyline sounds interesting. Eclipso does have the potential to be a big villain. Dark Supergirl sounds a bit lame though.

Across countless worlds, for countless eons, not a voice is raised in hope or joy.
Across these worlds, these infinite lands throughout the cosmos, there is only Darkseid.

Nohing. I actually like Crispus a lot. But when Robinson talks about some big titanic storyline where the Spectre dies, my mind immediately jumps to some sort of "Spectre: Rebirth" scenario.

Actually there was a pacifist host for The Spectre, it was Hal Jordan.

So are we to take Robinson's slip of the tongue to mean he's possibly writing a Hawkman series post Brightest Day? Because I think they just about killed any excitement I had for that happening if so.

I am continually amazed that James Robinson still has a job. By far, he's the worst comic book writer I've ever read, and I don't think I'm alone in thinking that. I'm not sure I've ever seen an issue of anything that he has written that has got more than a 3-star review at the major comic sites and blogs. And usually it's much, much worse than that.

For the love of Grodd, DC, please get rid of him!
