Easily my favorite issue of Baltimore yet.

Great art and genuinely scary. Can't wait for the next issue.
A new review full of speculation about the future of the series is up at
Comics Bulletin.
I enjoyed it.

I'm really enjoying this series, quite possibly my favorite currently ongoing book. The writing is creeeepy, the Stenbeck art is consistently terrific, Dave Stewart is his usual outstanding self, and the Mignola covers are gorgeous. Keep up the good work, folks!
BTW -- I've not read the original Baltimore novel, but I'm definitely looking to pick it up now.![]()
The one on the right was a variant of some sort. I don't completely recall, but I'm pretty sure it had some extra art pages and was perhaps signed? I have the one on the left, which is the standard version. And yes, pick it up! You won't regret it!

The one on the right is the Diamond Previews Exclusive edition, featuring the original Hans Christian Andersen story that inspired Mignola to write Baltimore (4pg), spot illustrations, and a sketchbook section (15pg). Not signed for a standard 'though.
All it doesn't contain is the lush color cover of the regular edition.
Both books are wonderful, but I think I might be preferring the Diamond edition, for the added illustrated stuff basically.

Chillingly good stuff besides Mignola, Slint, M, Knut and really big chunks of tinfoil?Been called a 'good egg'. Been told to rock, been told to steady myself. Been told to (please) be goin' places.

I'm guessing that young Swedish couple will tip Baltimore location to Judge Duvic. Anyway another great creepy issue, loving series so much!
