I want to thank DC for this gesture towards us fans. We will support your company as long as you stand by us and support us. The industry is 2 fold , you need us to keep your product and moving books to $2.99 in Jan. makes me gonna add Dark Knight and Batman Inc easy choices.

Eh, This is good I guess but they are cutting some Co-features that I really loved and was more than willing to pay a buck extra for.

Well, except for taking away two pages, it's good news. I WILL miss the Jimmy Olsen back up in Action, even though it just started.

    Thumbs up

WOW, this is awesome news, I can't believe they'd do something like this!

I am curious to see how long this price point lasts for, and if a certain other company across town follows suit...

I've *never* heard of price cuts for new comics before. Certainly not complaining, but this is a new experience for me.

Good news. I find the cancellation of the Jimmy Olsen co-feature kind of odd, though.

This is great. I'm going to have to buy some dc books in place of the 4 dollar marvel books I normally buy to show support

Well the good news is that books like Emerald Warriors is going to 2.99. Bad news is that co features are ending. :( That makes me sad. But hey at least DC is cutting back on 3.99 while marvel is seemingly increasing the number of them.

Hopefully this encourages Marvel to take a similar action.

    Wow -- that's incredible news.

I'll be picking up some more DC books now, as a sign of support.

Thanks for this (hopefully precedent-setting) move, DC, but a few things have me worried...

Are the co-features effectively canceled? What about the in-progress ones, like the Jim Gordon, Atom and Jimmy Olsen stories that will be killed mid-arc? That's disconcerting, especially to those of us who are enjoying them. Hell, Lemire's Atom is the only reason I'm buying Adventure Comics!

Why is American Vampire listed with DCU titles? Is this a hint of what's to come with Vertigo, a complete abandonment of the line and just "mature readers" warnings on books like this, Sweet Tooth and The Unwritten that will have the DC logo on them?

I look forward, though, to having room for Batman: The Dark Knight in my pull.
This just in: Chris Sprouse has pulled out of Orson Scott Card.

This news could quite possibly get me into the store to start buying comics again. At least DC, anyway.

Suck it, Marvel. Your titles at 3.99 plus your horrible mishandling and ruination of Spider-Man and the marriage drove me away from you guys for good.
