Powers & abilities: Telepathy, Telekinesis, able to generate psy-blades.
Formerly psycho-blasts, precognitive visions, link to crimson dawn allowing her to teleport through shadows. Psylocke has also been classified as a master martial artists, training physically and psychically during her time with the Hand, and from an alternate reality's Ogun, who used science and magic combined to alter the passage of time itself, allowing them to accomplish a lifetime's work in a few short hours. Also keeping herself in peak condition with exercise and sparring with other X-men.




Born and raised in England, in the small town of Maldon, Essex, Betsy had a very privileged life. By the time Betsy's parents had dies she had become a charter pilot, her older brother Jamie a successful race car driver, and her twin Brian Baddock the UK hero known as Captain Britain. Betsy soon quite piloting and became a model. Dying her hair purple Betsy became an international
supermodel success.



As Betsy's powers grew, she was recruited into Britain's answer to SHIELD, STRIKE. She was sent to infiltrate the Hellfire Club but was warned off by Tessa. After staying with the STRIKE through its downfall and formation into RCX, which led to her taking up the mantle of Captain Britain. This brought her into conflict with Slaymaster who blinded. She was then kidnapped by Mojo and Spiral who sought to use her as their puppet. After proving herself and beating back Sabretooth she was made a member of the team. She remained a member till they sacrificed themselves on public television. They were resurrected by Roma and made their new headquarters the Australian Outback. Soon however they mutants had to flee through the mystical
Siege Perilous and Betsy was found by the Hand naked and amnesiac. Their leader Matsu'o
Tsurayaba had plans to revive his brain dead lover using Kwannon's body. He enlisted the help of Spiral who did her job a little too well. And when Kwannon was not revived they opted to make Betsy the prime assassin for the Hand. Betsy was eventually found and rescued by Wolverine and Jubilee. Together the three set out Madripoor eventually making their ways back to the X-men. Through the time Betsy continued on going through changes such as http://Kwannon returning believing h...Betsy Braddock, fighting Sabretooth again, Crimson Dawn revival, and fighting the Shadow King.

After a power Swap with Jean Grey Betsy gained telekinetic abilities and joined Storm's Xtreme
X-men team. She was, however killed by vargas, but later revived by her crazy brother Jamie. She joined the Exiles and faced an alternate reality Slaymaster, and soon she was kidnapped by the Sisterhood of Mutants and brainwashed into joining their cause.
She was able to free herself
with the help
of her bestfriend
Dazzler
and once again came back to the X-men. She also goes on a mission to kill Matsuo
once and for all.

Yes, but all the others who were freed from the wall were freed with their original personalities intact. According to Matt Fraction, Betsy Braddock was killed. Why are people worshiping a character who has neither her original body nor even an established personality?

Your description make her sound like half the women in Hollywood that get worshipped as celebrities, so I think you answered that question.
