Very surprising news. Though, I was hoping for an animated series. Still, very interested in what they will do with this show.

Pull List: Green Lantern, Brightest Day, Legion of Superheroes, and Action Comics
Any Wonder Woman is better than no Wonder Woman I say. Hope this series becomes good

Well, this is unexpected.
David E. Kelly has been responsible for creating some of the most irritating characters and stories IMHO. As long as this portrayal of Wonder Woman is sincere to fans and does not insult our intelligence, then I wish this project well. *FINGERS CROSSED*
At least someone's trying.

Ahhh NOW the new costume makes sense.
What too cynical?
I was a big fan of Boston Legal and early Ally McBeal, so I know Kelly can write provocative dialog and strong female characters. This is unexpectedly good news!
Yeah this was uncalled for. Good news for her fans. I may tune in. I pray it isn't picked up by CW.
Any chance Betty White is in line for the lead role?
So Wonder Woman is going to be a lawyer and/or doctor living in Boston, now?

Will the dancing baby be back ?![]()
Well, the Perez version lived in Boston.
I think the new version of Bionic Woman failed because it was lacking in all of the charm of the original series. The Wonder Woman DVD may have failed because it was all-new material. They should have used Perez's series for inspiration instead of coming up with yet another take on her origin.
But Kelley isn't known for action, so choosing him is a bit suspect.
Doubt if we're going to see some stacked TV actress working as a Boston lawyer, but I'm thinking about who sifted through the TV pitches on her new desk and came across Kelley's pitch. The relatively new CEO of The Detective Comics Co. probably thought this was sort of a safe gamble; hell, Jon Stewart draws about a million nightly. You'd get at least a Xena-sized crowd waching in syndication, and if it clicks, movie time!
I would be curious to see this! David E. Kelly is hit and miss, with TV, but he always starts his shows out strong. (Until he eventually gets bored with the show and the quality drops dramatically around season 3). But WW tv show could last a few seasons! Cool.
Very interesting.
Yes, the new costume makes sense.
I know DC has been trying to find a way to better utilize Wonder Woman.
Agreed that they should go with the Perez version.
